Don Howard M.D | Board Certified in Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care

​

Dr. Howard graduated from the Medical College of Wisconsin in 1990 and completed his fellowships in Sleep, Pulmonary, and Critical Care Medicine at Wilford Hall Medical Center (USAF) at the Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas.   After fellowship, Dr. Howard served for 3 years in the Air Force.  Upon leaving the Air Force in 2000, Dr. Howard and his family moved to Spokane. He is an avid golfer and enjoys spending time with his family at the lake.

Steve Richardson, M.D. | Board Certified Pulmonology and Critical Care

Dr. Richardson completed medical school and fellowships at the University of Iowa.  Dr. Richardson moved to Spokane and joined our practice in 2008.  He has an interest in treating lung cancer and pulmonary disease. He resides here with his wife and kids and loves enjoying all that the region has to offer, including skiing and time at the lake.

Ben Bartsch, M.D. | Board Certified Pulmonology and Critical Care

 

Dr. Bartsch graduated from Loma Linda University School Of Medicine and did his pulmonary training at Penn State Hershey Medical Center in Pennsylvania. Dr. Bartsch has an interest in treating lung cancer and pulmonary disease. His goal is to help patients breathe easier and improve their quality of life.  Dr. Bartsch moved to Spokane in 2014 with his wife and 2 children. He enjoys spending time with his family at the lake or in the mountains.

Carolina See, M.D. | Board Certified Interventional Pulmonology, Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care

 

Dr. See joined our group in August of 2017 after completing a fellowship in Interventional Pulmonology at the University of Wisconsin.  Prior to her fellowship, Dr. See spent 10 years in private practice in Wenatchee, Washington.  She graduated with honors from the University of Santo Tomas in Manila, Phillipines.  She completed her Internal Medicine Residency at the Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and her Pulmonary, Critical Care, and Sleep Medicine fellowship at the University of Illinois at Chicago.  Her passion is lung cancer diagnosis and treatment along with other pulmonary disease. Dr. See loves to spend time outside whenever she can.

Jeff Elmer, M.D. | Board Certified Pulmonology, Sleep Medicine and Critical Care

Dr. Elmer graduated from the University of Texas San Antonio and completed his pulmonary training at the University of Utah.  He has been practicing in Spokane since July of 1987.  In addition to treating pulmonary disease, Dr. Elmer is passionate in helping you have a better night sleep. He enjoys spending time with his family, especially all of his grandchildren.

Ronnie Mantilla, M.D. | Board Certified Pulmonology and Critical Care

Dr. Mantilla graduated from the University of Guayaquil in Ecuador and completed his pulmonary and critical care fellowship at Carilion Clinic Memorial Hospital in Virginia.  He completed his Internal Medicine residency at Capital Health Regional Medical Center in New Jersey.  Dr. Mantilla is new to the Inland Northwest and is excited to discover all that our region has to offer.

Zachary Adams, M.D., MBA | Board Certified Sleep Medicine and Family Medicine

Dr. Adams graduated from St. Matthew's University in the Cayman Islands, completed his Family Medicine Residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Virginia, and his Sleep Medicine Fellowship at George Washington University in Washington, DC.  Prior to joining Spokane Respiratory, Dr. Adams was the Medical Director for Sleep Clinics of America in Virginia.  In his free time, Dr. Adams enjoys golfing, hiking, and college sports.
